No fires in the open
This year’s summer ban on the lighting of fires in the open will start on Monday. The ban will last until February 28 for all metropolitan Christchurch; local bodies. ‘ V'V.’-';.. 1 '" As usual, the ban does not apply to. barbecues or hangis if- they are conducted properly and suitable equipment is used.
