RESTAURANTS An Indonesian restaurant comas to Christchurch. Authentic Indonesian (or Dutch East Indies) food — the proprietors Jos and Hens (who.are also chef, waitress, and kitchen hand) come from Indonesia and Holland respectively. The restaurant will seat 32 AND IT OPENS NEXT WEDNESDAY - DECEMBER 3RD. It is the blend of spices and herbs that make Indonesian food so popular — and yes it can be very hot — but Jos and Hans will serve hot, hot sauces separately. A preview of the menu — Rysttafel (a feast in itself), Pemantang daging (for vegetarians) both a chicken and pork satay, the traditional rice and noodle dishes of Indonesia and even special dishes for children.
