The marketing director of Goodyear (N.Z) Ltd, Mr Frank Smith, says underinflated tyres wear out quicker, have , less durability and can be structurally damaged. While under-inflation . means fewer kilometres to the litre, oyer-inflation can increase efficiency slightly — but it can also promote abnormal tyre wear.
