PA Wellington Members tabled four notices of motion when Parliament sat at 7.30 pan. yesterday.
Parliament did not sit at the normal time of 2.30 p.m. to enable Members to devote themselves to committee work. -Ministers answered 15 questions. . The Meat Export Control Amendment Bill was reported back from the Lands and Agriculture Select Committee.
The Electricity Amendment, Electric Power Board Amenlment, Passports and Impounding Amendment Bills were all given third readings. The Apiaries Amendment and the Petroleum Amendment Bills were given second readings. The debate on the second reading of the Maori Purposes Bill was interrupted when . the House rose at 10.30 p.m.
