Post for Miss Waring
pa Wellington Miss Marilyn Waring, Government member of Parliament for Waipa, will take, up a four-month teaching fellowship at Harvard University. The first New Zealander to be granted the fellowship at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, the post involves teaching postgraduate students who plan to be future congressmen or women.
The Waipa electorate of the National Party will convene a candidate selection meeting soon so that the question of who will be the! 1981 candidate is decided, before Miss Waring leaves. I Miss Waring said she had accepted the fellowship with! the unanimous support ofi the National Party executive in the Waipa electorate and the National Government caucus. She will take up the fellowship early next year.
