Duties will consist of providing instruction to laboratory classes in the Diploma of Horticulture. The appointment will be for an initial period of one year with the possibility of two annual renewals. The appointee will be expected to enrol for the Ph.D. degree, and should therefore be a graduate in science with first or second class honours. The Department’s interests are in plant physiology and ecology and the Ph.D. research topic would be chosen from one of the following areas: Nitrogen fixation, physiology and biochemistry of seed development or. germination, plant lectins.
