Kennel show on Monday
Four Australian judges will officate at the Labour Day Championship Show of the North Canterbury Kennel Association at the Ohbka Domain. The show has attracted a record entry of 750 dogs making it the second biggest in the South Island. The association has made a practice over the
years of inviting Australian judges of the highest calibre to officiate at some of its spring shows. For one of the judges, Mr P. Nordstrom, it will be his third judging appointment with the association. He . will judge terriers, working dogs, and best in the show. The other three judges are Mr R.
D’Argrostin (toys), Mr E. Young (gun -dogs and hounds), and' Mr F. Sefton (non sporting). This .'year the association has gained sponsorship of the show by Tenderkist Meats, Ltd, and; Watties Canneries, Ltd. The show will start at 9 a.m. and the finals are expected to be completed by about 3.30 p.m. ■
