Youth, girl arrested
PA Auckland An Auckland youth, aged 16, has been arrested and charged with the murder of Daniel Harkins, a taxi-driver at Greenhithe,
earlier this month. He was taken into custody after detectives surrounded a Dominion Road flat soon after middav
yesterday. The youth will appear in the Children and Young Persons Court at Auckland today. A young woman has
also been arrested, and charged with being an accessory after the fact. She will also appear in the Children and Young Persons Court today.
Detective Inspector P. J. O'Donovan said the police were now no longer seeking anyone in connection with Mr Harkins's death.
Two youths, aged 14 and 16. were charged with murder two weeks ago. They have appeared in the North Shore District Court.
