Shotgun threat
PA . Wellington A store manager, Mr Norman Christianson, faced a masked man who threatened to blow his head , off with a sawn-off shotgun'during yesterday’s robbery at the Berhampore bottleshop. Later he said: “It' happens every, day in other parts of the country, .1 guess. It has made me a bit more.careful but it is getting to be just one of the facts of life.” The .robber left \with about $9500. Investigations into Sunday’s $BOOO robbery at the Provincial Tavern in Upper Hutt .are continuing. The police say they have some promising leads.
