Entries to be called for Pan Am Mile
Nominations will be called for this year’s running of the Pan Am Mile at the New Brighton Trotting Club’s meeting at Addington Raceway on December 6.
Nominations for the race and the Pan Am Mile Consolation, which will carry a stake of $5OOO, will close on November 24. The two fields will be drawn up that day,
In the past invitations to nominate have been exended during spring racing. This year’s race will carry a basic stake of $20,000 and there will be a bonus of $lO,OOO should the New Zealand mile race record be broken.
with the barrier draw for the Pan Am Mile taking place on Thursday, November 27. Horses can be nominated for the two events regardless of their assessments.
