Skybus users sought
PA Auckland A promoter of the Skybus venture has said that he could not say how many people had joined the Aqua Avia Society since a recruitment campaign began last Monday. Mr W. M. B. Thompson,
a director of the society, said that he hoped to have some indication of membership by the end of this week.- - •
About 200 ; salesmen throughout New Zealand are selling life memberships at $l5O and five-year
memberships at $75. The i society needs 20,000 members in order to launch an independent air service on New Zealand main trunk routes' and abroad. Mr Thompson said that he hoped the membership target could be achieved in six to eight weeks.
