Social-work seminar
People interested in community or social work may participate in a onefl a y seminar m Christchurch today.
The dav has been organised by the department of art and community studies at he Christchurch Polytechnic. It is particularly for volunteer and parttime workers. Professional social workers, however, have also been invited. The programme will include speakers and discussion time on such topics as “how to get involved in social service,” “what agencies exist,” “what training and learning opportunities are provided,” and “what co-ordi-nation is needed.”
