ww The interest, the movement is from the East. Narnia have imports from China, India, Indonesia, Russia, and Afghanistan. Soft pure cottons from Indonesia have been used for those fashion winners, the camisole and the chemise. Their two-piece dress and pants (wrap dress with tie detailing and narrow pants) in Fu-Chun rayon owes something to Anna May. Wong—indeed that is its name. This is a look that is easy to wear—for dinners, for evenings at home. More Wong. (Suzie). A very high-slit skirt in a Chinese brocade. Narnia like these with their soft cossack shirts. The gypsy in your soul is catered for too. Lots of crinkle cotton skirts with their own bare camisoles, and shawls. Narnia is far too interesting to be kept a secret any longer. Discover the East. What's new for this summer? Harlow Hair stylists are predicting-the soft-edge. cut. The geometric cut of the 60's has been adapted with a new softer shape emerging. Within the shape the hair is gently tousled, and reflects the fashion swing away from sharpness and into the new ease of the 1980's. Unlike the precise cuts of the 60's when there was almost cutting to pattern, this new soft edge cut has individual look. At Harlow the cut suits the client, not th® stylists. Harlow stylists emphasise that they cut hair for their clients, because they want them to return as regulars. Linda Dickson, the manageress of Harlow sums up their general philosophy, "at Harlow Hair, the hair must, match everything about a person. Hair is the new accessory for summer." The new Harlow Hair Group salon is in the National Bank building in Hereford St, and has five stylists. Linda Dickson the Manageress; Julie Armstrong, who was responsible for the very lovely hair styles of the models on these pages; Michelle Dowling, Sandy Brown and Sharon Brown.
