Body found on shore
i PA Invercargill The Te Anau police recovered the body of a Bluff man, Mr John William Keen, aged 54, from the rugged court of Secretary Island, at the mouth of Doubtful Sound, yesterday. His body was found in the vicinity of a diesel slick seen last week during the search for two men and their fishing boat Tiki.
The other.man is Mr William Trevor Pringle, aged 30, also of Bluff. They were last seen in the area about 10 days ago, and the search which was started then was hampered by rough conditions.
Police divers and a search team of Forest Service and police personnel were flown to Deep Cove and Doubtful Sound by helicopter yesterday to continue the search with the Fiordland National 1 Park vessel Renown.
