Young boy drowns
PA Rotorua A young Swedish boy was drowned in a swimming pool at the Rotorua International Hotel on Thursday. He was
Niilo Sakari Virtanen, aged three, the son of Mr and Mrs J. Virtanen, of Sweden, who were staying at the hotel during a visit to New Zealand. The Rotorua police believe tlie boy was playing with a toy near the pool. When the toy fell in the pool the boy went into the water after it.
