O.C.L. buying two container ships
Overseas - Containers Ltd (0.C.L.) anounced this week . that it has completed the purchase of the latest addition to the line’s extensive fleet of con- , tainer ships. . . At a. ceremony in Beagle House, the company’s London headquarters, delivery papers were signed transferring ownership of the 1080-contamer Seatrain Trenton to the firm from | Seatrain Lines. . I The vessel will be renamed! Falmouth Bay in December I when she will enter O.C.L. s new > Europe - Arabian Gulf trade.! Until then she will remain on ; the Seatrain service to complete her present charter. , - j The Falmouth Bay will go into; a Japanese shipyard in August j next year for “jumboising, ■, when a 14.2 m section will be added amidships ;to increase her capacitv to 1265 containers.
