Review of film services
Parliamentary reporter To provide relief from problems associated with staff ceilings and at the same time to give all schools access to films, the Canterbury branch of the National Film Library has streamlined its activities and re-ordered its priorities, according to the Minister of Education (Mr Wellington). He was answering a question in Parliament by Mr M. K. Moore (Lab., Papanui) asking if he was aware of a staff shortage at the branch and what steps he would take about it. When one advertised vacancy had been filled, the branch would be up to its staff ceiling of 11 positions, Mr Wellington said.
