Admission charges up at Addington
Admission charges at Addington Raceway will be increased from $1 to $2, effective from the Canterbury Park Club’s meeting on Wednesday, October 1. The three clubs racing on the course have decided on this increase, the first for seven years. The clubs have also decided to discontinue the issue of. entrance and meal tickets to owners, also effective from October 1. The decision was taken after considerable research and it is similar to that used by most clubs today. As a compensatory measure, the clubs have decided to reduce acceptance fees by $lO a horse. j; In addition it has been decided to allocate members’ stand tickets -to the owners of horses racing at each meeting, with a limit of two to the connections of a horse. ' The changes will apply to all future meetings.
