Tulip Queen chosen
Ingrid Outwerkerk, a nurse, won the Canterbury Netherlands Society’s Tulip Queen contest for 1981, heid at the Bishopdale Community Centre on Saturday evening. Miss Outwerkerk, who is 23, will go on to the national competition at Bal-
clutha on October 18. The contest was held earlier this year to allow the national winner to prepare for her trip to the Netherlands and to coincide with spring. The winner of the Canterbury junior section was Anna Marie Csikos, aged 16.
