Williams shows form
The old Eden Park favourite, Bryan Williams, showed again on Saturday that he is not yet ready to be pensioned off. Looking almost as frisky as he did when he first played for Auckland more than 10 years ago, William* provided the scoring impetus for Auckland's 18-10 win over North Auckland.
The eight-point win brings back some respectability to Auckland’s 1980 season which, with the Ranfurjy, Shield now in the Waikato, was beginning to look as dismal as any in recent rpsniary, "With 'next • ' Saturdays , national-championship match against Canterbury still to come, Auckland has now climbed back to equal fourth in the division-one championship.
