Tse-tung’s ■ ■ widow, Jiang Qing, and the other three, members of China s disgraced “Gang of Four extremist leaders;are in cells in the central police. headquarters in Peking, indicating that their Supreme Court trial is likely soon, diplomatic sources have said. ... • . The sources;’ said that Jiang Qing, Wang Hongwen, Zhang Chunqiao, and Yao Wenyuan were being held in the cells of the Criminal Investigation Division of the Public Security Bureau m the city centre. . The bureau has its headquarters in; a- complex in the old Legation Quarter which also houses the Supreme Court. f The secretary-general or the-Communist Party Central Committee, (Mr Hu Yaobang) told Yugoslav correspondents in rnid-June that the four were expected to go on. trial before the Supreme People’s Court by the end of September.
