Auck. band third
The Pipes and Drums of Innes Tartan, of' Auckland, with 132 points, was third in the march, strathspey and reel section of the pipe band contest at the Santa Rosa Highland games in California on Saturday. The leaders were Triumph Street (Vancouver) 136, and Erskine (Hamilton, Ontario) 133. The Innes Tartan drum, corps was placed second and its drum major. E. Eles, tvas second in the drum major contest. — (PA).
