NZPA-Reuter New York With more than 600 requests for press accreditation already received, the Larry Holmes-Muham-mad Ali heavyweight championship fight in Las Vegas on October 2 is certain to set a record for the number of journalists covering a fight, said a veteran publicity man, Murray Goodman; yester* 'day.' ” ■ ’ “The response to Ali’s comeback, has been phenomenal,” Goodman said. “I’ve worked many big fights in my career, including ones , involving Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano, but this will top everything. “The number of writers and photographers who want' to attend the Holmes-Ali match is sure to surpass the first Ali-Joe Frazier fight in New York in 1971, and the Roberto Duran-Sugar Ray Leonard welterweight title fight in Montreal last June,” Goodman said. The Holmes-Ali bout ■will be held in a 25,000capacity temporary stadium now being constructed in a parking lot outside Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas at a cost of about $750,000. It will be dismantled after the fight. .
