PA Gors Marlborough’- and Southland were the teams to watch in the first round of the regional undei 14 soccer tournament being experience in thoroughly defeat ins their opponents yesterday. Marlborough beat North Otago 14-0, while Southland beal
e South Otago, 6-0. Mid-Canter-d bury' had a bye. e , The Eastern Southland-South ir Canterbury game was very close g throughout, both scoring in the first half. However, South Cand terbury scored in th® last 10 t- minutes of the game, winning, 3-2. >. The tournament continues it until Thursday.
