Escaper caught
A man who escaped from Paparua Prison yesterday morning was recaptured in. Ham Road last evening after he had been seen by a woman taxidriver. . Matthew Winiata, aged 24, was picked up by a police • patrol after the woman had radioed her base. Winiata had been, reported missing from the prison about 10.30 a.m. yesterday. He'will appear in the-District Court this morning charged with .escaping; from custody. -
