Winner to get bonus
There will be an . added 1 , bonus for the trotter which earns the most points in the I Banks Peninsula Trotting Cup and the two open-class I trots at Greymouth in Octo- ! ber.
The Auckland Trotting Club will pay a bonus subsidy of $5OO for the top point-scoring horse and the horse will automatically earn a start in the Benson And Hedges Handicap at Alexandra Park in October.
The Greymouth club, ,in an effort to attract better class fields at its meeting, has been instrumental in organising the scheme. ■» ■ i
