Trophy wins
The Violet Gilmour Trophy, awarded to the. team with the lowest average of goals scored against it throughout the national netball tournament, went to Wellington Minor, with an average of 19.7..The Lady June. . Blundell Trophy for the team with the highest average of goals Scored, was won by Thames Valley, with an average of 43.8. The Gibson Cup for the smartest team on the court throughout the tournament went to Northland.
I Over-all results:— First grade.—New Zealand Cup. Canterbury (22- points); 'Annie Brown Cup, Auckland (29 points). Second grade.— President's Shield, Hawke's Bay (20 points); Hayhurst Cup, Bay of Plenty (1# points). Third grade.—Kiwi . Trophy, Thames Valley (22 points); Arm.strong Shield, West Coast'd# points). - Fourth grade.—Ansn Challenee Shield, Wellington Minor (23 points); Hostings Cup, Hawke*# Bay Minor (19 points).
