Post Office profits
Sir, — Post Office officials seem to be highly elated at the profit of $70.9 million made last year. Any private enterprise company that had a monopoly on a service as vast as that held by the Post Office and who could raise its prices by up to 40 per cent at the drop of a hat would be regarded as inefficient if it made such a relatively poor profit. — Yours, etc.,
