This position involves the control of a bridge gang of up to four persons, which undertakes the maintenance of State Highway bridges as well as light timber and concrete construction in the Southland area. Although experience in all types of construction is desirable, it is not essential, and the opportunity for further training will be provided to the successful applicant.
