The appointee should be a qualified : Home Economics teacher with experience in a developing (country. Home Economies is tausht’ in tiie broad areas of ' food, clothing children and bousing and an ability to relate course work to local conditions is essential. ■ The College, which has approximately 550 students, is situated on an independent (campus itt the Eastern tligh- ' lands, and is a constituent part of the University of Papua New Guinea. It is responsible for the education :of secondary teachers for ! Papua New Guinea and other I Pacific nations. The College 'conducts courses which lead |to the award of the UniverI site’s Diploma of Secondary TeachingI The appointment will take effect from January I. 1981, land will be for 18 months. ' SALARY: I Tutor: K 10.960 per annum ; plus gratuity.
