i A COMMISSION of Enquiry I having been appointed to inquire into and report upon: i (a) Whether there was any ' impropriety on the part of any person in relation to the reference on any occasion of the applicaI tion to the Board for con1 sideration: (b) Whether there was any impropriety on the parti of any person in relation I to the circumstances in J which, or the basis on which, the application was I considered on any occa- ’ sion; . (c) In respect of the approval of the application by the Board — (i) Whether there was an error of jurisdiction or otherwise; and, (ii) Whether there was i any impropriety by way of departure from previously accepted criteria for granting loans or from what has been previously accepted as proper conditions of , loans or otherwise. (d) Whether any. amendment to the* legislation governing the functions, procedures and practices of the Marginal Lands Board is necessary or expedient. Any person who is a party to the inquiry or satisfies the Commission that' he or she has an interest in the inquiry’ apart from any interest in common with the public, will be entitled to appear and be heard at the inquiry. Such persons or organisations interested in matters falling within the Commission’s terms of reference are invited to make written submissions.
