P.D.L. firms on report
Share prices recovered slightly on a mixed, moderate New Zealand sharemarket yesterday. N.Z. Forest Products firmed 3c, Lion Breweries 2c, Challenge 2c, Alex Harvey Industries 2c, and Tasman . sc. However, New Zealand Insurance fell 12c to 250 c and other market leaders to decline included Ceramco, Crown Consolidated, South British, and Wattie. P.D.L. rose 5c to 125 c on a report from the annual meeting that the company was doing well in its new financial year. Lane Walker Rudkin gained 3c to 120 c after its preliminary profit was confirmed.
