The 12-metre yacht Aparangi is hoisted from the deck of a large transporter for launching at Lyttelton yesterday. The yacht was built in two years and a half by Rod Johnstone and Dave Gallagher in a shed in Ferry Road. The only major work left is the mast and rigging.
