NZPA -London John Walker took third place in a tight finish to a fast mile at the reopening yesterday of the .Saiitry Stadium track in Dublin. Walker, running his third harshly competitive mile in five days, was beaten in the dash to the line by the
i American, Steve Scott, and 1 the Kenyan, Wilson Waigwa. i Scott, second in Monday’s ; “Golden Mile”—in which f Walker was again third—won in three minutes 53.8 1 seconds: a tenth of a second i ahead of Waigwa, with * another tenth back to Wali ker.
