NO AGREEMENT REACHED
When the new award for shearers was negotiated this year provision was made for local agreements to be made for the shearing of Corriedale, Halfbred and Merino sheep where there had been a tradition,of such
1 arrangements in the past. In Canterbury no i agreement has, however, been reached on such a s special rate for these sheep ‘and the matter'rias i been adjourned. This has i been confirmed by •• the i parties involved.
