Govt contribution
PA Auckland A Government contribution of $170,000 will be made towards the staging of the 1981 New Zealand Games, to be held next January. The contribution, announced by the Minister of
Recreation and Sport, Mn Highet, in Auckland yesterday will make up a small part of the expected total cost of $2 million. The games will be held irr conjunction with the Pacific Conference Track and Field Games in Christchurch.
