A grade: Prebbleton beat Halswell, 4-2; South Christchurch beat Beckenham. 4-2: Shirlev beat Cashmere. 52 games to 48: Woolston beat Fendalton. 51 games to 41: South Brighton beat Burwood. 4-2. B grade: Avonside beat Wa!mairi. 6-0: Edgeware beat North Beach. 47 games to 42; Bishop, dale beat Halswell, 6-0; Shirley Sumner, 5-1.
