A tasty snack
Honey coconut biscuits are easily made, and make a delicious supper-time snack. You will need a heatproof pan, a mixing bowl, a measuring cup, a tablespoon and a wooden spoon for mixing. Ingredients. 125 g butter 1 tablespoon honey 1 egg yolk 1| cups self-raising flour 1 cup sugar | cup dessicated coconut What to do. L.Heat the oven to 325 degrees F. 2. Melt the butter and honey in the pan over a low heat, and allow this to cool slightly. 3. Measure the flour, sugar and coconut, and place in the mixing bowl. Combine these together. , 4. Add the egg yolk to the honey and butter. Mix well. 5. Add the butter mixture to the dry ingredients, and mix to blend all the ingredients together. 6. Roll teaspoonsful of the mixture into balls, and place on a lightly greased oven tray. 7. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. 8. Cool on a wire rack.
