Susan ■ z Devoy, aged 16, of Rotorua, once again showed how well her game has developed this vear when she beat Donna Gurran, of Edgecumbe, in the girls’ final. After a close first game, which Miss Devoy clinched, 10-9, she. went on to win the next two-games comfortably, 9-3, 9-6.
