Canterbury’s fortunes fluctuated on the opening day of the national under-12 soccer tournament at Mana,. Wellington, yesterday. In the morning, it was well beaten by a fast and skilful Auckland side, while a late goal gave it a 2-1 win over Wellington in the afternoon. Steven Holden and Geoffrey Bain scored Canter-
