Women’s festival challenged
The Human Rights Coni* mission has received a complaint about the Christi church women’s arts festi*: val, which was held iii‘ March. The complaint is be-i lieved to have been made because men were not allowed to attend the fests val. . An investigating officer of the commission, Ms K. K Threadwell,, confirmed that ’a complaint had been laid but she said that all the com: mission's investigations we/e confidential and that she could say no more. “Normally what happeig is that when we receive a complaint we make fact: finding inquiries to see ji the complaint is correct” she said. ‘‘Nine times out of 10 it stops there.’’ '-j
