Cabinet delayed
The Iranian Prime Minister (Mr Mohammed Ali Rajai) announced at the week-end that he would delay the expected announcement of a new Cabinet because President Abolhassan Bani-Sadr was away from the capital, Iran’s news agency, Pars, has reported. According to Iran’s new revolutionary Constitution, Mr Bani-Sadr must approve the Cabinet, Pars said. It did not say where the President was, but he frequently makes trips to trouble spots in the provinces. In other developments, Teheran Radio reported that Government forces had killed 133 “coun-ter-revolutionaries” in northwest Iran and firing squads executed six men on various charges including drug smuggling.—-Teheran.
