U.K. talks on frigate
PA Wellington A team of four will fly to London next week for detailed talks on the proposed conversion and life extension of H.M.N.Z.S. Taranaki. The team will include the project officer (Cimmander J. M. Steward) of the Naval Staff, Wellington; Mr G. C. Apperley, constructive manager, H.M.N.Z. dockyard; Mr A. G. Darroch, planning services manager, H.M.N.Z. dockyard; and a dockyard electrical engineer, Mr J. N. Connor.
