A man was taken to The Christchurch Hospital after a fire in a house in Lincoln Road, near Sylvan Street, at I 9.15 p.m. on Wednesday. | j The man had suffered I 1 from smoke inhalation after |‘he apparently went back I into the burning house to re- | trieve his wallet, a St John a ambulance spokesman said.
