Mr Rowling’s trip
Sir,—-The recent travel feud . between Mr Rowling and our touchy and self-centred Prime Minister, Mr Muldoon,. reveals the symptoms of dictatorship. Mr Rowling as a prospective Prime Minister of this country, is fully entitled to visit overseas countries at his own convenience without the interference of the Government ,in office whose members have already spent . thousands of dollars of taxpayers’ money; on their regular jaunts around the world. Mr Mui--doon’s mishandling of the economy plus his distorted and biased political activities" have badly tarnished the, New Zealand image at home and abroad. —Yours, etc., . L. WESTNEY. August 12, 1980.
