Trentham to be upgraded
PA Wellington Almost $500,000 is to be spent in upgrading the facilities for the National Yearling Sales at Trentham. The plans, just announced by Wrightson Bloodstock, Ltd, who run the sales, concentrate on improving the number and quality of stables at the sales facility. Money will also be spent on seating, for buyers, extra car parking, the cafeteria and landscaping. The general manager for Wrightson Bloodstock (Mr D. M. Floyd) said improvements followed a decision in April to retain the National Yearling Sales at Trentham. They are expected to be completed in time for the 1981 sales, in January, he said.
