Lowe on Mahoney
Arthur Lowe, the English .comedy actor, is among Dave Mahoney’s guests on “Mainly Mahoney” (Two) tomorrow. < At present in Christchurch starring in the play, “Beyond A Joke,” Arthur Lowe has portrayed a varietv of characters on the screen, from Captain Mainwarjng in "Dad’s Army” to the eccentric Irish: priest, Father Duddleswell;’ in "Bless Me Father.” There have been Potter, Leonard Swindly in “Coronation Street” (where he nearly married Emily Nugent, now EmilyBishop), and a variety of other roles.
Dave Mahoney, will also be joined by the singers, Malcolm McNeil, Angela Ayres, ; and Beaver (exBlerta), and the Ooomph dancers. As usual Dave Fraser .will add the back-; ing jvith his band. . '
