V.I.P. flight service?

PA Auckland A variety of new services may be introduced on Air New Zealand domestic trunk flights in an effort to wop businessmen back into the air.

Preferential seating, the introductions of a frequenttraveller designation, the use of a V.I.P. room at airports, quick baggage clearance, and drinks on flights are .among the new services being considered by the airline. The airline is asking businessmen what they want before they introduce any changes.

The deputy general manager, commercial (Mr R. B. Keenan) says the airline had been concerned about the fall-off in domestic traffic and was determined to do something to get people, particularly businessmen, flying again.

Travellers could expect little respite from - higher air fares but the airline could provide an improved service. It wants to get businessmen who now fly once a month back in the air every week — as they used to be before air fares increased.
