Ski events postponed
PA . Wanganui Deteriorating.weather conditions on Mount Ruapehu’s Turoa ski-field yesterday forced the postponemnt of the F.I.S. series. The giant slalom events were to have been held, but because at condi-
tions the races were put off until today. Unfortunately the weather has robbed the events of much of their competition, as the Japanese and Yugoslave teams leave New Zea- : land today to compete in ■ similar events in Australia.
