Neroli Fairhall fourth
NZPA Washington Neroli Fairhall, the Christchurch paraplegic who won selection for the New Zealand Olympic team for Moscow, finished fourth over all in the United States archery championships, at Oxford, Ohio, over the week-end. She won the foreign competitors’ section of the women’s individual competition,
with a total of 2451 points, against the 2506 of the overall winner, American Judi Adams. Gary Wright, of Auckland finished thirty-sixth over all and was the ninth foreign competitor in the men’s section, scoring 2338 points against the 2558 points of the winner, Richard McKinney (U.S.).
